It was such a paradox! When I let go of my "to do" list and sat down to play with the kids, we were all happier and then I could tackle my list with renewed ferver! Summer's coming, so it's good to make a plan. Have each family member make a list of the things they want to do this summer. (Or draw a picture of it, if they don't write yet!)
Here are some ideas to get you started: beach combing, kidnap dad for a picnic lunch, progressive dinner, garage sales, visit the Humane Society, zoo (Erie & Buffalo), consignment shops, lighthouse sightings on the Western New York Seaway Trail, science museum in Cleveland, festivals, act like a tourist and see what brochures you can find at the Chamber of Commerce, read joke books together, clean out your closets and let the kids play dress-up, sidewalk chalk drawings, jump thru the sprinkler, walk to the library, get ice cream, play puppets, pick strawberries, ride bikes, pick cherries, ...

Come to our Festival of Fun! A fund-raiser for our new Family Life Center and a fun-raiser for the whole community! Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 10 am to 4 pm.
