I found some great new sites to encourage moms!
It's a fun exercize to wander through the different rooms available at these websites and interact with moms and wives from all walks of life. It helps to know we're not alone in our struggles.
I wonder how this generation has become so isolated. We have cell phones, instant messaging, answering machines, beepers, email and myspace, yet do we really connect? When a friend is hurting, do we let down the mask to look for comfort together?
I know when I am hurting that I have to rely on the Lord more. But He also brings friends alongside to help carry the load. They help me to see Jesus in the flesh by being His hands and feet to my need.
Maybe there's someone with whom you need to reconnect? How about giving that friend a call today to say hello? I'll talk to you later...I think I'd better pick up the phone myself!
