Our son came home yesterday after a week in the hospital, and we are taking the time to regroup as a family.  I found 90 Minutes in Heaven during a break Saturday, and couldn’t put it down!  Don Piper talks about a beautiful Place, but I found it also to be an encouragement to persevere in life.

1. Pain is a difficult part of life, but it also enables us to help others when they encounter the same experiences.
2. Pride often keeps us from accepting help from others.When we relinquish that pride and accept help, it empowers other people to use their gifts.
3. Purposeful living is God’s gift to all for the duration of our time on earth.
