Lindsay Lohan has a new dad.  What happened to the “old” one?  He served two years in prison for drunken driving and then went through a drug and rehabilitation center.  Where did the new dad come from?  On the outside, he looks like the same guy.  But, on the inside, Michael Lohan has a new approach to life.

     “I made a commitment when I was in there to God and to myself that, when I got out, I was going to do God’s work, and I was going to share with other people what I’ve been through and how God changed my life,” Lohan said.  (Quote from Alicia Quarles, AP Writer.  The Post-Journal 10/26/07)

It’s refreshing to see men take ownership for their lives.  My husband, my dad and my father-in-law are men that I’m proud of.  They stand up for what’s right and speak up about their values.  They are men who are great role models for my son, and for the type of husband my daughter will one day seek.  They understand that faith in God empowers them to live with integrity, no matter what the cost.

Michael Lohan, I’m praying for you, as you begin a new relationship with your daughter!  May she see Jesus in you!
