Imagine competing against 6,000 other groups for the #1 standing in America.  Imagine making it through the eliminations week after week.  Imagine making it into the top three finalists.  Denver and the Mile High Orchestra did that and more.  They were shining beacons as they performed on national TV.    Their music was a tribute to their faith in the Lord.  Their standard of excellence honored God and brought glory to Him.  I am so proud of the way Denver & TMHO represented Christ in the competition.

The final night, it was amazing to watch all of the bands singing Christmas carols together.  Isn’t that what it will be like in heaven?  People from every background will confess that Jesus is Lord and worship at His feet.  And that’s what the Christmas story is all about!

    I looked again. I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb and heartily singing:

        Salvation to our God on his Throne!

        Salvation to the Lamb!
