Christmas quickly ends.  The wads of wrapping paper are cleared out and taken to the transfer station.  The sweets have found their spot around my waistline and leftovers have lost their appeal.  Is that all there is to Christmas?  Or is it just the beginning?

Christmas could mark the beginning as the New Year swings into focus.  We all look for ways to improve upon last year’s mistakes.  We hope for better outcomes to risks taken and more creative ways to tackle life.  Yes.  I think Christmas just might be a new beginning.

I resolve to be more loving.  I resolve to pray more often.  Out loud!  I resolve to study the colors in the sunset.  I resolve to take time to be quiet.  I resolve to seek the Holy in the midst of the mundane.  And I resolve to show gratitude. 

                    Thank You, Lord for bringing a new beginning to a world that needs to know The Savior!  The Savior, Christ the Lord is born today!
