Yes, the Conference was phenomenal!  It was enlightening to see that Moms come in all shapes and sizes.  We may have different tastes and personalities, but we seek the same thing…connection to our daughters!  Whew!  There is no perfect, ideal size Mom-Model.  We don’t have to look like each other.  We don’t have to behave the same way.  What’s important is that we continue to love our daughters through the trauma of hormones and insecurities that they face in life.

What a gracious spirit we found in the staff!  They were flexible and worked together so well.  They were as consistent off-stage as they were “on.”  When we had trouble with the locks on the van, they just piled in the other one with the luggage, and sat on the floor.  It was an adventure listening to their giggles as they clicked pictures with their cell phones.  J
