Inbox: Value or Clutter?

I’ve been catching up on some reading this morning.  As I’ve subscribed to quite a few ezines and blogs, my Inbox is always overflowing.  But every time I think I should pare down those subscriptions, I find another nugget that I can’t live without!

People have different reasons for signing their email address on the dotted line.  Some like the tone of voice used by the author.  Some like the stories because they can relate to that phase of life.  Some come for advice offered, or tips to help manage their lifestyle.

Those other voices are becoming friends.  They make me think about expanding my viewpoint.  They stretch me to be patient with the seasons of life.  And they hone my gifts by helping me to understand the dynamics of those tools.

Why do people ask for your email address anyway?  An email list helps the author connect to specific people that are interested in the same things.

I subscribe to the ones that click with me.  You sign up for the ones that speak to you.  And collectively we see the treasures that remind us that God has brought us together for His glory.

I’ve listed some great links in the right hand column.  I thought I’d tell you about some more that fill my inbox.  Feel free to add your favorites!
